Wedding posters
Panty and Stocking Robert Janson ver.
Poster based on a manga/anime title "Panty and Stocking w. Garterbelt", another bride's favorite shows. The idea stemed from a music video from the original show, in which the cast played out scenes from known rock songs. Then I figured, what if they were to parody some polish songs from 90's/00's. The song "Małe Szczęścia" by Robert Janson stuck with me on this one. I've changed the prechorus to fit the wedding reception vibe.
Initial scetch.
Tracing with basic colors. I've tried to use the blob brush all the time to achieve the distorted width look of lineart present in the original series and save time. The effect is satisfing enough to leave it at that.
Final coloring and shadows, a little tweeking with the background and composition.
